Summary

Ian's father died, tragically, in 1957, in an accident when Ian was very young. Many years later, Ian and Jo's adopted only child, 23, died in an horrific accident which should never have happened. Then, haunted by her son's death, Jo catches a glimpse of a young boy in a magazine who resembles him - and learns of a tragedy in faraway India which touches her deeply, leading her to travel there.
