The free traders

Rousseau, Victor, 1879-19602019
Large Print
The free traders deal fur and whisky, debouching their way through the Canadian northern territories. Pitted against them are the country's soldier-police, the Northwest Mounted. Lee Anderson, Royal Canadian Mounted Police sergeant, is on a mission to find a man wanted for murder twenty-five years ago. But when he and a mysterious woman are thrown down a cliff by a dynamite explosion, her memory disappears from the shock, and they find themselves in a wilderness pursued by the Free Traders - who are bent on killing Lee and capturing the woman.
