Second feature length spin-off from the successful anime series following the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a young man who has inherited powers that require him to do battle with evil spirits. Ichigo (voice of Masakazu Morita) was bequeathed his abilities as a Soul Reaper by Rukia (Fumiko Orikasa), who was too badly injured in an encounter with a spirit to go on in her role. She continues to assist Ichigo, however, and joins him as he tries to track down a member of the Soul Society who has stolen a precious artifact known as the 'King's Seal'. The quest puts Ichigo at odds with the society as a whole and soon they even pose a threat to his life...
