Biography/History:
Malcolm Archibald was born in Edinburgh in 1957. He lives in Dundee, where he works as a part-time history lecturer at Dundee College, and as a postman. He is married with three children. His previous works include Scottish Battles, Bridges, Islands and Villages of the Forth, Scottish Animal and Bird Folklore, Across the Pond and Soldier of the Queen. Whales for the Wizard was the winner of the 2005 Dundee Book Prize.
